Our Mission:
Halo Missions is a vocational rehabilitation service located in Nashville, TN. Women in different stages of addiction recovery are taught how to handcraft jewelry as a form of art therapy. We are a registered nonprofit with the state of Tennessee and a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the IRS.
Who are we?
The "Halo" in Halo Missions stands for Helping And Leading Others, and this is our focus. We are a vocational rehabilitation program based in Nashville, Tennessee dedicated to helping women who are in recovery from addiction by teaching them a skill and providing them with this form of productive art therapy as they rebuild their life after addiction.
We are a registered nonprofit with the state of Tennessee and a 501c(3) nonprofit with the IRS. If you would like to view our forms, please request those via the contact us box or view a hard copy at our offices. These are always available upon request. You can also visit our Financials page.
How does our program work?
Once the women have successfully completed treatment at a rehabilitation facility, they are then eligible to join our program. This is where we pair them with a mentor to aid in their recovery. We also teach them how to make bracelets from used guitar strings as a form of art therapy and a way for them to earn a supplemental income while they are rebuilding their lives.
We recognize that everyone is different, so there is no set limit on how long a woman can participate in our program as long as she is still clean and sober. We want to make sure everyone has the time and support they need as they decide their next steps.
