Friends of Halo Missions: Springfield Guitar Co

One of the necessities for our mission is guitar strings! These are essential for our art therapy classes in rehabilitation facilities, our AirBnb classes, and our funding through the sales of our guitar-string bracelets. Without these strings, we could not continue.

We rely on local and national stores to donate their used strings to us when they restring guitars for their customers.  Usually, these used strings would simply be thrown away. The laides in our program upcycle these guitar strings into our beautiful jewelry in a sustainable way.

One of our long-time contributors is Springfield Guitar Co located at 614 South Main Street in Springfield, Tennessee. They have been saving and donating used strings to Halo Missions for over three years now.

They are a locally owned and operated guitar shop with other types of instruments and lessons offered in the heart of the adorable Springfield town square. If you have any instrument or lesson needs, please stop by Springfield Guitar Co to shop local and support this friend of Halo Missions.

If you are interested in donating your used guitar strings to us, please contact us! We are always in need of more.

The Rose of Sharon

In case you haven't noticed, we have a very special ring that is a little different from our other styles: The Rose of Sharon.

This ring is named in honor of a special lady named Sharon Rose Domingue who has helped our mission greatly. We are excited to announce that she is the newest member of the Halo Missions nonprofit board!

She is the creator of this beauty, and she is just as beautiful as the ring in her character ans strength. She fights chronic lukemia every day, yet stays positive. When searching to expand our board, we wanted someone with a heart for others and our mission who already understands our program. Sharon is the perfect candidate.

If you are interested in the ring named after her, you can purchase yours today by clicking the button below! Use the promo code SHARON for 10% off in honor of our special announcement between April 19-30, 2021.

"I am a rose of sharon, a lily of the valleys."

7 Years...

Picture

Behind this mission, the founder of @halomissionstn is a wife and proud mother of two fantastic kids, one who happens to be turning 17 today.

She is also a recovering addict who gets to work with other recovering women. However, most of all, she is proud to be in her children’s lives today sober, aware, mentally stable, grateful,  productive, and positive.

Seven years ago, the story was very different. She was unable to function as a parent to these two children. Fast forward... Today, she is  supporting mother to both of her children who is actively involved in every aspect of their lives. This is our hope for all the women in our program- a chance to live the beautiful life they were created for without suffering under the  heavy yoke of addiction.

Happy birthday, Nathan! (Pictured right)

Friends of Halo Missions: The Next Door

What's new this week?
If you visited our webpage this week (August 3-7, 2020), you saw a lovely and not-annoying-at-all pop up saying that we are donating 20% of all purchases from this week to The Next Door! Our followers know we have partenered with The Next Door many time before and hopefully in the future too.

What is The Next Door, and why are we so passionate about them?
The Next Door is a safe treatment facility for women in recovery. Many of the ladies in our program successfully completed a program at The Next Door which redirected their live path before they came to us. Then, we at Halo Missions step in to teach the ladies a skill and provide them with a supplemental income to help them get back on their feet.

At Halo Missions, our focus is helping women in recovery from addiction. The Next Door is a great facility for those looking to start their road to recovery. If you or someone you know needs help, please visit their webpage at https://thenextdoor.org/.  You can also follow them on Instagram @tndnashville or on Facebook at The Next Door, Inc.

If you want to support The Next Door and Halo Missions, you can make a purchase on our webpage until August 7th. Click the button below to see our products.

We started a blog!

Hello Halo missions supporters, followers, friends and contributors!

We are excited to announce that we are starting this to give you guys updates and news about our mission, our programs, and our jewelry.

The name of our blog will be "The Halo Hub". Shout out to all of our Facebook and Instagram followers who voted to help us pick this name.

Our goals are to make one blog post each week about a variety of topics. Some of these posts will be shorter, some may feel more like you are reading a novel (I wish I could say I was always concise, but that would be a lie...).

If you have any questions for us or things you want to know about us, please comment below or send us an email!
